Summer Sounds

Superb the sounds of summer’s soliloquy So sweetly singing the sparrow’s song, Sometimes she sounds suddenly sonorous Since startled sparrows sing shrilly strong, Summer sounds so singularly sacrosanct Swallows and swifts sing slow and soft, Sailing skyward like sandpipers swinging Standing, then, on solid sand sashaying Soon sauntering, staying satisfied, sane, Soothing summer sounds stolidly serene.

Oh my goodness! You must have used a dictionary and snapped up every S word ever invented! Both of your alliterative writes today are so sweetly scintillating!

Actually, I didn't use a dictionary much. I looked up a couple of words to make sure they meant what I thought they meant. I'm glad you liked it. Challenged???

Tom, I'm writing another one using the S words. Trying to tell a story.

Nope, not hardly. It appears there are more S words in the English language than almost any other letter. I really didn't have a problem coming up with words that worked. I do try to make an alliteration poem make sense.
