Summer Rain
Summer rains hard upon window's fogged glass
Thunder rumbles across the darkest sky
The lightning cracks leaves a luminous flash
And winds have blown as clouds begin to cry
To wet the open door from her goodbye
Alone with an empty and windswept doom
The storms inside and out now multiply
Both take a toll on the life they consume
One will pass the other will leave a tear-soaked room
