Such Is Life

You can't always get what you want 
But you can change what you want 
And perhaps then you'll be able to get something like that 
It will not be the same thing 
But it will be of the same kind
Such is life it won't bow down to you 
Instead figure out what you're lacking
And find yourself in all those wrong
Someone might see you as gold 
And someone might see you as diamond
They both have great value
But one's worth more than another
If you know what I mean
