On the Reservation, children improve their aim by "picking" apples with a stone's throw as rocks are much cheaper than ammunition. Off the reservation, most shooters are scared to death, so their victim is on edge just by seeing the weapon shaking in their assailant's hand! Aloha! Rico

We both have a gun, but what is the use, we were held at gunpoint and the gun was between my husbands legs, mine was in my bag but our hand were high in the air. Do you know my friend, that even for a moment I wasn't scared, I think God was present, they didn't hurt us, just cleaned us of my jewelry not even our Landrover. We used to live on a main road, everyone passed us and didn't pick up we were being robbed.I enjoyed this senryu. great poem Judy, Love and hugs, Jennifer.
