Stuck In Time

STUCK IN TIME I’m stuck in time, all my ships have sailed The sea is rising, as the cold winds wailed If only my hands were not held by others Your lack of foresight for me, it smothers Your chains do nothing; but bind my free When, all we ever do is agree to disagree I’m stuck in time, all my ships have sailed Time after time, these walls I have scaled Won all my battles with my own fortitude To find on the other side I’m still screwed Your jealous minds are grinding me down Forsaken I am all but done with this town I’m stuck in time, all my ships have sailed Took to walking, bounty paid, I am bailed I've got holes in my pockets, no money I Holes in my boots sleeping under the sky I will have freedom whilst you but, bound Making steady progress on newer ground I’m stuck in time, all my ships have sailed But; freedom given, I am no longer jailed The sea will calm; the winds stop awailing And, my life will become more plain sailing Other ships will come, with room to spare With more in common and more to share Indiana Shaw . . . "Grieve not; lost opportunities that hold no love" . . . -_-
