Strum

Verse 1 Why is it so hard to comprehend Why you won’t stop running in my head? How come I can’t delete the images That you bore in my mind? Chorus: Strum, strum, strum Away all of the thoughts of you and me Together peacefully. Strum, strum, strum We’d dance to drums, we’d dance to love and Now you just won’t give me the time of day. Verse 2 I want to sleep, I want to breathe, I want to Feel you next to me. But you won’t give me the time of day, so, I guess I’ll just sit here quietly. Chorus Strum, strum, strum Away all of the thoughts of you and me Together peacefully. Strum, strum, strum We’d dance to drums, we’d dance to love and Now you just won’t give me the time of day. Verse 3 I know you won’t listen to the voicemails on your phone. I wonder just how much fun you’re having all alone. You’re always running, running fast Through the thoughts inside. Yet you won’t give me the time of day, so I guess I’ll just sit here quietly. Chorus Strum, strum, strum Away all of the thoughts of you and me Together peacefully. Strum, strum, strum We’d dance to drums, we’d dance to love and Now you just won’t give me the time of day. Final Verse So as I lay here on my bed Thinking about the words I haven’t said. I wonder, where did I go wrong? Because you just won’t give me the time of day.
