A stream of rain Soaks everything here Cooling off the humid air A stream of thoughts Pass on by me As I fight to see Bright outcomes yearned So much has been learned Engraved habits there are I have come so far Through restless storms Betrayal in many forms A stream of rain Now cleanses this day For what may come my way Heidi Sands 7/11/19
