Story of Anna
Story of Anna
Anna is now admitted to K.G. in high school. She is a cute girl of five too decisive gaining personality day by day. Her mom fails to direct her.
She devotes least possible time to study and keeps ample time to play. She has affinity to write comments on the page of book. One of her favorite rhyme ended with the line ‘Three pigs wore no caps.’ So she put her comment ‘Three caps must be bought for them.
Mom has warned her repeatedly not to write on the wall. So she
wrote on the wall ’Mom is too stubborn not allowing me to write on the wall’.
Her mom is polite to pray ‘Anna, please be quiet. Be attentive. Write each word slowly with care. Your handwriting is getting horrible . See, ‘D’ and ‘B’ are drooped. ‘L’ shows acute angle and not a right angle.’
Anna is loud to declare ‘Mom, you are dictating so many words, I myself am drooped. What is the fault of ‘B’ or ‘D ‘? You must accept drooping ‘B’ or ‘D’. Also I am in hurry to go to play. ‘L’ is also ready to run leaving the copy.’

One week passed ‘Anna’s mom is requested to visit the Class Teacher who told’ Anna is a quick learner but she is prompt to change class room each period escaping notice of teacher.’
Mom asked Anna ‘Why do you change your class room?’
She instantly replied ’I must. I learnt there are twelve classes. If I stick to same class in each period, when I will complete my study? I cannot spend so much time.’

• First term examination is over. Anna brought her progress report. She is brilliant and secured highest marks almost in every subject. But she got only 25 out of 50 in Drawing. So her rank has dropped to tenth place. Mom complained to Anna
‘Can’t you be a little bit quiet and slow in drawing? Art work needs care and patience.’
Anna got angry ‘Are you upset of my tenth position? You wanted to be proud by letting your daughter to hold the first position. Then what about the moms of other kids? Won’t they feel sad? Twelve classes ate ahead to attend. Three examinations occur each year. I can multiply 12 by 3. It comes up 36. One examination is over. You will get 35 chances more to see your daughter as topper. Just relax. My playmates are waiting for my guidance.
I am running late. Bye!’
