Storm
STORM
the clash
the flash
\\\\\\\\\\\
of lightening and thunder
her tone
his anger
########
of choreographed wonder
her scintilla lids
his cursive wrinkles
$&@$&@$&@
ripping, roaring – toppling trees
rain must come
sorrow takes a walk
:::::::::::::::::::::::
deluge dashes room to room
slamming doors
punching walls
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
all at once a rainbow
she looks up
he remembers
@@ @@
“i’m sorry” – he
“so sorry” – she
water recedes with cosseted hugs
******************************
each storm a star
on heaven’s window

the home of marriage protected by stilts
