Stop Sign

I was driving fast,
I think I saw a stop sign.
Too bad. Too late now.
I'll just look for another,
And I'll stop for twice as long.

I enjoyed the humor of it... Hilda. But be careful of speed. Once you miss the stop sign, you can't rectify your action, even if 'you stop twice as long'. Fortunately nothing happened...!

Everyone makes mistakes. Even the poor girl in my poem. The stop sign should be reviewed to see if it is properly placed. Ha ha.

I do this "making up for" stuff all the time. (I put this bottle in the trash can, not the recycling bin, so I'll pick up the next two bottles I see laying on the ground and put them in the recycling bin.)
