Stoop to conquer
Vibrant silence hijacked by thought,
is a web in which man is caught
but in truth we are always free,
if our heart be still, as it ought.
When head and heart with love agree,
we’re bound no longer to mind’s tree
and then fear recedes and joy leads,
making soul blissful and carefree.
The voice of conscience to us pleads,
let go of lust and past misdeeds,
surrendering our egoic will,
whence grace of God within us breeds.
