Stone Pine
I set my eye
Towards horizon looking at deep sky
There mountains will lay
Above which flock of geese will fly
They say
When Homer was on the way
To write Troy his famous work
He looked from the mountain at man at work
Seeing how small people were
He decided they will never be more
Than what they are
Sure we came far
But in Troy characters’ life
Is full of strife
And we
Often face same destiny
But when I
Look at the mountains almost touching the sky
And see
Resilience of stone pine tree
I think differently
To conquer the mountains is our destiny
And in them there is great beauty
As is in stone pine tree
Sequoia tree
Is also the pine to see
It also is full of beauty
And like stone pine protecting it we should be
From the top of the mountain one can see
Almost towards infinity
And vision on top of stone pine tree
It is a vision of divine majesty
Majesty
That beyond any reflection of mind would be
The meaning of life answering philosophy
That meaning beyond timeless mind will be
That is the gift of stone pine tree
But only open mind can see
This mesmerizing beauty
And this is when it feels truly free
