Stolen By Storm

Rain, drought's kiss for dry spell distances the tongue waving, so wild She blows on soaking leaves the owl, who's spooning rain, drought's kiss Land's fire caught still with the dizzying taste for dry spell distances With accidental DeJa'Vu for its downpour explodes the tongue waving, so wild.

after reading your poem for the 2nd-3rd time I happened to notice the line "the tongue waving, so wild" being repeated, echoing through the first and last stanza (maybe it's smth i should've noticed reading the first time? boo, im sloww). wanted to comment of how I adored your piece concluding with a gentle, trickling melody, including a peaceful ending verse as lovely as it began in the first stanza. wuv this one, have a great day Paige!!~ ;))

“ With accidental DeJa'Vu” i feel like i know that feeling so very well and many must. What an adjective for dejavu, i think thats perfect word pairing there. You always weave thoughts in such thought provoking and unique manner! Pleasure reading your work always. Sending you light

Interesting weave of words. I love the sound of those first two lines… the owl, who's spooning rain, drought’s kiss

This is quite special, Paige with smooth, lyrical cadence and striking imagery of exploding downpours and "drought's kisses." So glad I found it today. Blessings, my friend.
