As spring showers - Brings on the flowers And summer dreams - Remember’s soft extremes, And autumn’s gentle leaves - Silently grieves, And winter’s frost, - Remembers all that’s lost… My heart replies with a smile, Something you might not have seen in awhile, But I smile… because there is light, Erasing the darkness of night. There is joy in the silence that inspires, Hearts to believe, souls to see the fires… Feelings brought to life, By the wonder of God’s sacrifice… His everlasting grace and peace, The shadow of a heart who’ll never cease… To love with love that is alive and abides, Inside the souls who believe God provides. He provided the Son, Jesus Christ And, with this gift… the One who bled and died, The One who was sacrificed… Taught hearts to give – to have the blood applied… So that they could live forever – as Jesus’ whosoever!
