The Whiskey Taster’s Flavor Guide

Still Life

In my area there’re no children with diapers
No young people in their formative years
There are no young people married or singles
People call it “ a place of aged and aging couples"

No young people in their formative years
To regenerate no people returning home
People call it “ a place of aged and aging couples"
To the past or future they have no eyes

To regenerate no people returning home
No young people in their formative years
To the past or the future they have no eyes
In my area there’re no children with diapers

I wish, Katherine, you re-read the poem. I want to say that there are no grown-ups and children in the area. In fact, they don't funds to raise the children. I hope you will read it again

The Pantoum itself is good but kinda a sad topic but it seems that it has become that way that the elderly are to themselves somewhere and children are in nurseries and school age children are off to themselves..different from one age....Keep the creative pen flowing.. Thanks for stopping by and commenting on my work..Sara

a wonderful pantoum,,I live in a similar area,,the most of the towns people are older folks,,not much opportunity for younger folks here,,seems to be no growth,,just as your words express,,,a very interesting and thought provoking piece for when the ages pass, the area may wither and die,,with no new growth from youth,,I do want to Thank You for all the comments that you leave behind and for especially taking the time to read my words,,,Blessings..Cecil
