Still falls A cold rain, Guilt, cured In blood stain, Seeps deep ... Thirsty souls, Fault-bound ... Heaven weeps, Hearts drowned. Raiment torn, Broken ... Mercy born. Sin's wage, Still, there falls ... A cold rain. Written and submitted on May 19, 2019 For the "Charlieku New Form" Poetry Contest Charles Messina, Sponsor. Greg, this poem makes rain sound BRRRRRR extremely cold. I have often thought of rain as warm so this was a new perspective for me.
