Still, Like the Rocks
The river’s water tumbled over the rocks
Nature’s voice roaring, after the storm
As a spray of mist splashed in the air
I listen to its language and breathe fresh air
Watching the waves, I stand sturdy like the rocks
Near waterfalls of beauty spilling from the storm
Powerful reminders, brought to me by the storm
Now peace is in the calmness of the air
The air is still, like these strong river rocks
I am still with the rocks too, for the next storm, with each breath of air
