Stem Cell Sonnet
"If you asked me to sacrifice my daughter
So that I could live just a little bit longer,
Then I'd have to say you're just treading water.
You really can't swim in this world like a father."
"If you asked me to sacrifice my daughter
So that I could live just a little bit longer,
Then I'd have to say you're just treading water.
You'd kill all the earth just to feel a bit stronger."
'I'd never ask you to snuff your daughter.
I feel your pain, I feel it also.
My daughter with Parkinson's is just treading water,
With stems she could swim and live even more so.'
The battle for a future, the battle is here.
Poor people without health care, do you even care?
