State of Being
In this glorious state of being
I find I am alone
For how or why, this way I feel
I must now atone
I am not lost nor am I sad
Yet, I see life has flown
By all accounts of measured thought
At least I think I’ve grown
So what then of this feeling, still
Shall I live to bemoan
Or shall I live in gratitude
For all that I have known
