Staring
She sits
Staring
Always staring
Searching for the words
The thoughts
Just trying
Wanting him to see
How can she make him see
Her silence hurts
Wishing she could tell
But no one will truly listen
They all just give their opinion
Advice she doesn’t want
She loves him
She can’t give up on him
She made a promise
One she means to keep
She said she’d wait
It kills her to silently wait
But it’s what she’ll do
Each night torn by thoughts
Pulled from sleep by words
She hurts
But they just want don’t see
And neither does he
