So true for many of the so-called (famous for 15 minutes) stars! We seem to be obsessed with celebrity in the modern age. But it really is a conveyor belt of mediocrity, in the main. Real stars pay their dues and stand the test of time. Excellent write! Glad you are feeling a little better, Carolyn. Love and best wishes, Robert.

It's not a word I desired to have Carolyn. I'm happy being me, because nobody else can. I totally agree with Sophia. Good luck in Brian's contest. It's great to see him back :)

I'm diggin the term NOVA. I may borrow that one with your permission...one day!---I love this short n' sweet bit of hot fire spit straight into the soup. I mean spit in a good way.(you know me, off my rocker a little) AND, I haven't located my A. GreenSCAM poem yet, but I will post it shortly. I am posting a semi-political poem called "Altruistic View" here in a minute. Please read, as I think you will enjoy. Your Pal of Pen. ~JSLambert

how very true, Carolyn and so sad really how so many lives have ended this way? btw I just remembered-- you were a hippo before, now an elephant?? Carolyn, I think there must be a more colorful (& thinner! yikes I can only hope to lose the pounds that you lost!) animal out there for you ;) hugs

you know you are so right, very few people make to the top stay there without no trouble coming there way. they have to learn that once your there, your life is no longer theirs, they have to live a different way. a great piece you wrote for the contest, good luck.
