Star Scream

I want you to feed me my only fear, to make a ritual of the ruddy rain I hear deluge my dreams with Love's broken mirror, our inspiration fragmented into faithless drear, to deliver the division of two hearts once near on a cutting board of Venu's neurotic nightmare, take me to where yearning is taunted by stoic stare to the edges of erotic emotion wounded from passion threadbare, lead me to fear's chasm split warm and wide on a Goddes's tongue of despair, I need that soul spasm hyperextending the phantasm of my boyish beliefs unfair, If I could fall in love with you again a star hunter I'd be, feigning capture in your solar reign equiped with erogenous eon, violating your violet virtue from within, I would be your fuel of fury and flirtation, speedily skipping across a galaxy dim, an unstoppable windfall of cosmic conquest bursting from our indefatigable union, If I could see you one more time in truth you'd be a Queen, lean like love keen, sexy as sabotage with no proof, intuiting when to kiss, and when to kill, dressed to thrill in vermillion fox, a King me be, knowing how to war, and how to water the woman that gives me shocks, would throw roses and lava into a world desperate for heros gone mad on Creativity's roof, I don't know how Love says goodbye, I don't know how it sounds, how it moves or know when the Death Dance begins or ends, how deeply does Love get buried in the pits of private agony, how will I remember the anniversary of our Dia de Muertos, will you paint your face like a sugar skull and grin from misery made merry, a grave robber I will be, rubbing fragrant memory on the lips of our love gone by, feeding you the fear you've taught me - J.A.B.

Had to read it twice - but second time slower. Each line holds so much thought. It's like I'm in the roller coaster of your mind and have no idea where I'm going - but enjoying the ride. It went from passionate love to outer space... And then to death. You have a wonderful poetic soul... Keep feeding it!

I must admit, Andtea I love the typo in your comment!!! I am an androgynous creature, its my nature, and a strength that raises my consciousness Andrea, and that is commensurate with relating to PD. She and I relate more though as being "Natural Born Leaders". Glad you are stimulated by my love. This community has an astonishing collection of novel talent my friend. Ive been inspired by your mind too!

My Muse induces this magic throughout my Being Brooke, dares me to confront my thresholds, and to jump beyond them with courage & purpose. This is why I love her. Glad that I gave you something to be charmed by Brooke. For my poetry to be mystical is to be spiritual, and that s just the way I like it. J.A.B.

Oh. My. God. Leaving me breathless and captured. I am enraptured, you are enamored, and this is the most beautiful profession of love. If ever a heart would be won, it would be with this stunning dedication. Possibly the most captivated I have ever been. Favorite by favorite by favorite. You my dear King, sit among the stars, weaving your words through the cosmos like silken hair through a comb, a canvas portraying the most beautiful thing. I can not find the words worthy to express this poem.

When breathless you be, I'd feed you the air that first built the World, as a Queen I would not dare capture you, but rather invite you to express Love's domination along side me. You are more than worthy Jay, you are pure inspiration. J.A.B.

This was a fantastic poem. From beginning to end, it was gripping and very profound. I like how you do the style of monorhyme in the first stanza. Filled with breathtaking imagery and great use of alliteration. I like the theme of love mixed with "misery made merry" in this verse. Grand job! -DWB

A tornado of love. Thank you for acknowledging the rhyme schemes in this composition David. Not only did I take my psyche on an adventure in expressing the genuine dimensions of Love, but also I was feeling very playful with the style I chose to utilize in honoring the love between her & I. J.A.B.

"how will I remember the anniversary of our Dia de Muertos, will you paint your face like a sugar skull and grin from misery made merry," - exceptional lines Justin. I had to return to this one. .and will surely return again. And that line "how deeply does Love get buried in the pits of private agony" Hit me hard. I can very much relate to this piece. Love should never be taken to the grave. Exceptional in every way! Always, Laura

A somber ceremony for Love's departure is seen sharply in the Dia de Muertos analogy, I just couldn't escape that vision Laura. However, in this Art, in this life of ours there is a beautiful determination to rediscover the power and mystery of Love as expressed in the 2nd & 3rd verses, my favorite parts. Thank you for loving myArt Laura. J.A.B.

Wonderful, saying goodbye, dims every star in the night sky. I like what you said about the "day of the dead." Life is never forgotten. A grave robber-to be.... Amazing write. I can feel your words, hitting a deep emotion. Confronting ones world, I'm taking from this piece-- A reinforced wall that was crossed. Very well written, deep & dark. The open window, says it all.... Keep it xool, and keep writing. I really liked how you mixed levels here. Fine visual arrangement... particularly 'the slow dance when death finds it's end. Prolonging the fantasies, when feeding the fear. ~Linda~

Continued...I value this woman's spirit and love so much, that the perception of passion passing bye, love inadequate, our love too overwhelming was cutting our bond produced this nightmare, and the need to confront the nuturing pain innate in the seperation. One reason why I adore her is because she pushes me into these narrow and dark places of knowledge. J.A.B.

Linda, your astute, and poetic comment, " prolonging the fantasies while feeding the fear..." honors the need and essence of this unique side of Love. That's the goal, to fully explore the heights and depths of Love. The woman I love recently awoke this awareness in me, and I wanted to give form and voice to the fear that our love may not achieve it's full potential. I wanted to imagine the death, and resurrection of love, something everyone experiences with a trembling.

There are too many amazing lines for me to quote or say I admire... I have a busy night tonight, Justin... But I will definitely come back to this most amazing verse!!! That first stanza in particular was amazing. Always. Laura

One of my favorite expressions in this write is the reference to THE DAY OF THE DEAD, personalizing that holiday for our love in Passing Laura. This poem is not imaginary, it is established on very real feelings of love changing to a lower frequency, testing the worth, and lifespan of our connection, and justifying the balance of fear and fortune in what we have together. J.A.B.

What? No comments on this? How can that be? It's a moving piece, Justin. The rawness of your writes is so captivating. No softening things up. You let the words go just where you want them. Take me to where yearning is taunted by stoic stare....Beyond amazing!

Honoring me the FAVORITE POET distinction is very inspiring Eileen, thank you very much! You ate already in my FAV. file. This gothic composition is about self discovery through the power of partnership. I want to understand every dimension of love with this woman, its like a new nature to me. I want hear the growl, feel the weight of absence, be taught why loneliness should persecuted, why fighting for love is the same as fighting for life.
