Star-Crossed Lovers

Romeo and Juliet; Stella and Will; Rose and Jack; In stories, novels, and films star-crossed lovers are many; Though they love like cherubims, why do their stars soon shine black? Fate pushes them toward death, after tempting them plenty...! It's not the celluloid heroes and heroines suffer, Many love immensely; thorns and not flowers they acquire; As though constantly tempted by Satan, like Lucifer, Though young in mind and heart, fast they find perpetual pyre...! How much they strive, day by day, to hold fast to each other! Yet, their hold, like that of Rose and Jack of Titanic, slips; Thunder and lightning and rains, and icebergs play bad weather, They are torn from each other by circumstantial eclipse...! No cause is left to live; existence comes to a standstill, Thrills killed; pains filled; they part from each other against their will...!!!
