Standing Outside
Shivering like that
I would never leave you out;
You don’t need to knock,
come to me stay warm within;
Dive in, you’re the scent of home;
As close as can be
we’ll just heat one another;
Melting the frozen,
love is a thief of cold nights;
Suddenly you can’t cool down;
Held bubbling over
on the brink of explosion,
not able to touch;
Give me every inch of you,
why are you standing outside?
