Standing My Ground
Standing My Ground
Written: By Tom Wright

Life, for me, is about making choices
So I’ll never submit to the unnamed voices.
For if I change due to being coerced,
Into another’s thinking I’ve become immersed.
I’ll stand my ground for the right to choose,
For I’m the individual, who will win or lose;
And those nameless critics that show no face,
Spew withering words that I give no space.
