Standing Back Up
She had fallen so much a shell of who she used to be
In slowly losing touch she soon lost her ability to see
So long ago singing in the choir that smile on her face
Looking back she'd admire having such innocent grace
But those days past as now things are much different
For things don't last as so much stuff came and went
In so drifting away it wasn't long before she was lost
The forgetting to pray came along with a terrible cost
But this was the bottom unable to keep living this way
Her hands and legs numb as she knelt down to pray
With tears in her eyes and emotion filling up her heart
The Lord hears Our cries but He needs a place to start
Receiving a little incite and knowing God already knew
The sun now shinning bright finally seeing what's true
God missed you so much so glad you finally came back
In now feeling His Touch there is nothing you will lack
