Spring Reverie

From
Winter's
Fertile womb
Spring leaps newborn
Joy filled daffodils
Ribbons of rose sunshine
New music trimmed in lilac
Wrens and robins return the song
And savor wriggling joy like fat worms
Fragrant fantasies spin on silver rain
