Well done, Jan! The nicest part of Spring is the word - in any language - as it conveys a fresh, new beginning in our tired, old world! Aloha! Rico

I went to first grade in England - lived in Taunton, I think in Somerset (many moons ago) and my English was a little shaky as I only spoke Greek - I still remember the Headmistress took a shine to our small family, she and her daughter used to take me for long walks along a river where blubells flourished, so whenever bluebells are mentioned I vividly remember that part of my life. Beautiful poem Jan - holding thumbs for the contest. Poetry hugs, Jennifer.

Thanks so much Alexis, a few years back my son totally forgot Mother's day ( he just sends a card we don't bother with presents) and I later discovered he'd set his calendar to US not UK lol:-) Hubby and I helping out at a walk for charity this year, we do voluntary work for them:-) hugs Jan xx
