Spring Is In the Air
Spring is in the air.
Fair weather's on its way.
I am so tired of snow and ice.
I want to run and play.
The fruit trees are in bloom
and making promises.
For those who've seen their bounty,
there are no doubting Thomas's.
The swallows have returned.
They're building nests of clay.
The swan and geese are gathering
for their fights so far away.
Spring is in the air
as well as birds and butterflies.
Every thing is new and fresh
as pretty scents arise.
