Spring Is Blooming

There's a jolly in my step I am full of happy pep When rainbow colors start to show From blooming flowers as they grow From the ground so we can see All their wonderful beauty What a wonderful sweet sight Glowing with prismatic light Daffodils sunny and yellow Roses with love from your fellow Blow dandelions-- make a wish Beware of ivy-- it can itch Petals open on lillies Providing nectar for the bees Violets, iris, morning glory Are all purple but don't worry Every color can be found When the sun thaws out the ground Beams of light shining warm rays Nourishing seeds day after day Growing a picture perfect painting As the winter weather's changing Into a more warmer spring Anticipating all it brings
