All signs of spring have arrived among the fields of yellow daisies and tall grass Basking in glory the wading birds with its white silken body and long legs Cattails burst tall with delight from the pond Dragonflies fly amongst the cattails Enjoying their flight around the pond, while Jesus bugs dart across the surface Frogs patiently waiting on their lily pads Gingerly, my little girl walks among the green grass and clover looking for Hidden Easter eggs amongst the yellow daisies, daffodils, lavender and Irises, around latticework bower intertwined with climbing fragrant flowering Jasmine in yellow, white and roses in bloom with a kiss of velvet to its petals Keeping track of all the Easter eggs she's found; she runs with her basket in hand Laughing every time, she finds one.
