Her face lit up like a kaleidoscope
of colors as she slowly put it in
her hands and sobs, sweet spring green eyes of hope
crinkles at the corners as her world spins.
She was stunning, with faint flavorful scent
that drew his gaze, like a moth to a flame.
Quite taken with her grace kept his nights spent
in deep reflections on how to lay claim.
In a garden of white roses, he knelt.
He took a deep breath, "Will you marry me?"
Her gaze met his and he saw she would melt
glowing with all the colors of the sea.
Their heart soared with love and joyful wonder
Words said, "I love you, you and no other."
splashes of color
heartiness of emotion
till death do us part
