So glad the spring has come.
The air is soft and warm
with flowers all in form.
Earth’s closer to the sun
whose greening has begun.
To feel good is the norm.
The winter we’ve survived
to see the spring come round.
Just smell the fresh new ground
where life again has thrived
from seed to be alive,
a miracle profound.
Oh, hear the young birds sing,
as they give praise to Spring.
