Spring Flowers
as you walk through the countryside
by the side of the path are so many flowers they
confuse ones sense of smell
daffodils nodding there heads
everyone sending out a perfume divine
freisas the most beautiful of flowers
great to look at plus the perfume is overwhelming
holding up their heads as if in a bridal bouquet
If you wander a bit further you will see fields of tulips, with
jaunty snowdrops intertwined, as though saying look at us
kafir lillies whose colours are so different sort of husky
look so well in a garden or wild area
meander now through the long grass, what's hidden there
narcisuss the first always to show, plus
oregano, may be a herb but loves to be amongst the flowers
pansies their beautiful faces look to the sun, makes you feel like
quoting the poetry of the old poets like Wordsworth
run now through the lavender fields, your hands brushing the heads
sending the heady perfume into the atmosphere
time for tea maybe amongst the beautiful flowers
until the sun goes down sending the night scented stock
viyng with the. lilly of the valley for most liked smell
what a thing to have to choose, mission Impossible,
xeranthumum is an everlasting flower in the daisy family
you can spot them with their silver leaves, that leaves us with
zinnias bring up the rear, rather partial to dry soil, they are.
