Spiritual Embodiment
I stroll down a quiet road
under the sun's brilliance,
huddled raven awfully croak,
little robins delightfully warble;
glad to roam where people don't walk;
freedom is found in some lonely place,
one may feel very alone and sad,
and stopping to reflect one finds accord.
Spiritual embodiment is needed
exploring hidden wonders,
" Did they come from nothing?
Did someone greater than us
create them? And what is
their purpose? " These questions
require a pause for reflection indeed,
" What are we actually seeking? "
I despise the challenging voice
of the atheist who mumbles skeptic words
by denying the existence of God;
has he ever thought this over at least once?
Did the universe evolve by itself,
or a mighty voice commanded
the creation of constellations,
of planets and other universes?
We can spend a lifetime debating,
never solving the mystery so puzzling...
meanwhile, astronauts explore new frontiers
encountering danger and even death!
Who has ever discovered a planet
and owned it? So far, nobody did!
We own the Earth and still destroy it,
not willing to protect its awesome wild!
Take another walk into a stately forest
and discover how it enthralls
anyone with its radiant and filtering lights,
adding mystery to ominous sounds!
I despise who discerns the source
and denies it imposing another belief
based on science, not on the creation itself;
if the Bible declares it to be the handiwork of God...
we can confidently attest that even the Word
had a part in the creation that is vast, not sparse!
