Spirits Soar

Listening peacefully to Bach I soar,
Above the clouds as a hawk I soar.

Lying on forests mossy floor,
Listening to natures talk I soar.

Watching geese fly south, encore,
Majestically beautiful flock I soar.

Knowing life has so much in store,
Answering its every knock I soar.

At times life is like a lions roar,
Standing as a solid rock I soar.

I shall hear natures call, and open its door,
Making sure that with every breath I soar.

Hi Brenda, your poem is beautiful, but I have to make a little comment. On the last line "every breath I soar" , should rhyme with "rock I soar... Knock I soar... Flock I soar ...) may be you can use ...............with watching the clock I soar. Thank you. You may email me and we can discuss further. Sincerely, Pashang

oh, yes, the lovely ghazal. There are just so many cool poetry forms in this world. that was a great ending line for this form, brenda. I bet you have done more of this form since this one in 2012?

I actually have another one in here and a couple more in my computer. I was looking for different forms at that time and thought I had found a good variety in my collection, then I came here and found out I had only scratched the surface of poetry.

Such a beautiful flowing write. I shall hear nature's call, and open it's door, making sure that with every breath I soar. Such a lovely piece....Sharon G.
