Spellbound
When I look into your eyes
I see the dreams that we can live
Hear the songs our hearts can sing
Touch the love we have to give
And I feel some special thing
Which draws me through your flesh
So like an angel's hair entwined
Through a statue praising grace
With each curvature defined
As if sculpture spun from lace
Yet it wends its way beyond
Through swirling depths I do not know
Spinning strands I cannot see
In an ethereal glow
Where one-half of you is me
If its true that we are one
Why does my heart beat all alone
And my breath resound in sighs
And my voice become a moan
When I look into your eyes?
