Speed Bumps Are Often
Blessings in Disguise

Each day God affirms that we’re meant to be here,
He places little speed bumps in our appointed way.
By accepting His will and continuing to persevere,
We’ve His promise that awaits us, an eternal day.
But He made no promise of a life filled with glitter,
Or that we’d never see ourselves challenged by fear.
Sometimes life’s events leave us depressed or bitter,
But things rarely are as harsh as they might appear
