Spectacular

Scintillating, shimmering, sparkling a light
Paradisiacal, pulsating and splendid a sight,
Effusing an ethereal sense of warm yearning
Chimera is it that’s overwhelming my being?
Titillating every iota of my senses to extreme
Accentuating a long lost road to my fond dream
Cowering in the shadows of a delusion’s regime
Until a spark bursts forth from my soul’s core
Levitating my spirit into the heavens to soar
Allaying my fears of an inevitable Armageddon
Reviving my hope in the Kingdom of Heaven.
