Speak

Whispering women, Away from their men, Often come up with a much better end. War is something we all understand, We always lose what men begin! Family, friends, and lovers will be gone, No one to sing a celebration song. Sending best wishes to conquering armies, We get ready to scrape the blood off the wall, Feeding our children water and straw! Could we survive a few more assaults? Only to bear witness that we are alive. We could have stopped the war before it began! Give us a chance! Or we will end up a pile of ash, To be blown away like so much trash!
