A giant pearl, haunting the sky Shimmering with a glow That reflects a beautiful smile A glimpse of forever Found in your light Silvery moon, walking the sky Where will you shine your light tonight? Romancing the earth with your easy Way of gesturing to the stars Where will you fall across my heart In peaceful dreams, pausing A giant nugget of the sweetest hue Beckoning to the heart With music flavored by soothing Hopes and prayers Intimacy that flickers on the air Breathing praise and care Shining moon, decorating the sky Melancholy in June Harvest of October night Whisper your thoughts across My mind, in supplication For the joy of your inspiration Will this moon survive the night When ebony paints Her fingers of insight Through the silent grace Unfolding on the place Where serenity is a flame Safe and admirable Wishing for a chance To spread its mystery To share its song of thanks To make the heart aware That life is more than care Life is delight, insight, the light Shining down, a spark of white On the endless dark night Silvery moon, keep shining And reminding me That love like yours Will forever abide Eternally faithful My soul’s harbinger
