Soul Song

*** Soul Song *** Oh, heart do not weep though your pain is so deep! Sunlight and happiness are for yours to forever keep. This world is a crown of thorns, so why do you weep? Know you not, to God, you will live so heavenly sweet? That one day, His face you will surely greet? Into Hades, cheaters and hellions, He shall assuredly throw! And believers and those good, like you,shall live forever in His celestial, star-show. 11-28-2020

Pangie, your beautiful expression in poetry reminds me of Psalm 42 where the poet is speaking to his discouraged soul: "Why are you downcast, O my soul, why so disturbed within me? Put your hope in God for I will yet praise him, my Savior and my God". Wonderful thoughts you have penned with a very uplifting ending. "Celestial star show" mommy ~ John

My son in law re read your baseball footies, like you was in LITTLE League and explained that your footies had a progression in them! He's a baseball fanatic. Hello Tom! Cold here today. Will be high of 63 degrees. Last night was 32? Typical winter here. Re the poem, yes indeed, I agree with your summation. Quiet here today. Family comes over tomorrow. Will put out more decorations, then! Shopping all done via the Internet. Shooting at a Sacramento Mall...one dead. Glad I do not live in that city.. All in family doing well, hope same by you.
