Soul Mate

“This time I would catch that shooting star
before its fiery demise!” I loudly proclaimed.
Dispelling all doubt when it comes to wishes...and how a
majority perish like dreams upon awakening (dawn sometimes
not all that is cracked-up to be – forgetting light and dark
having both their treasures and defeats)
               Like being alone
and lonely are not necessarily mutual. Many of us continue
to contrast evil and righteousness, using only eyes
and feelings~shades and colors easiest to see and clarify –
opting too readily for something we can taste, swirl in our mouths,
like good and bad kisses. But...back to that star,
as I held it in my eyes long after its parting –
as I gave it gleam, long after its brightest moment –
then gave it your name, realizing you a forever blazing
part of me....

"But...back to that star, as I held it in my eyes long after its parting – as I gave it gleam, long after its brightest moment – then gave it your name, realizing you a forever blazing part of me....' Beautiful conclusion to a great poem of love. "I gave it gleam" knowing it ever blazing part of me'. This mutual support to be in gleam makes life meaningful and it is when both become true soul mate to each other. Enjoyed the great depth of your beautiful relationship, Joe

It is both Divine and human -- my wife and I are so attuned to Divine Love that we seldom can separate the two. Therefore, true love is always Divine. Blessings my friend.

read John Donnes The Ecstasy....lots of good stuff to steal in there...remember the difference between a bad poet and a good one, a good one is partly a thief....in love and war, rules are fungible

Great live poem, when ch Mrs DeMino must enjoy. But the aside, about dawn not all cracked up and said ... Puts lie to common knowledge. For thy wisdom, shalom shalom Farher-Brother-Rabbi

Thank you, Anil; of course here I speak of physical light, physical dawn – pure spiritual light cannot be seen with the physical eye, its vibration too high. One must use his spirit eye. I have seen such light, have been under a shower of it -- and recall how I kept thinking, how can anything be so intense, so powerful, so bright!~and yet not disintegrate me instantly? Something I will never forget.
