Sonnet Xxxv: When You Speak 1 - Right Wing
When you speak,
Do not speak of your Woes
Without telling us of the Goal
Do not sadden us with the tale of your Troubles
Without following it up with the tale of your Trophies
It is useless to display before us your Scars
If you will not intimate us with its Stars.
After every successful training comes promotion
So help our youthful minds
Do not tell us of Labours like they are fruitless
Do not tell us you suffered
When actually it wasn’t imposed on you
But came to you on the path you chose to pursue.
So that we know, Challenges on the path to success are worthwhile.
