Songbird
A delicate songbird
pampered
though caged
love and trust
not of issue
she will stay on and sing
while through the bars
she is slipping
when the timing is right
to emerge a raven
cloaked by the night
indulging in passions
beyond little bird song
only love for her keeper
has her returned before dawn
