Song of the Four Seasons

Song of the Four Seasons 2-16-24 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Song of the Four Seasons Jagged steel gray skies Compose barren bough sculptures Midnight days, Orion nights White fire crystal symphonies. Spring wriggles adagio toes, Sunbeams thaw tuneless meadows, Daffodils dream yellow melodies Blossoms burst fragrant ballads. Downbeats of summer rainstorms Silver sonatas of moonlight Heat rises in crescendos, Cool waves soothe sunburns. Scarlet scatters leafy notes, Crisp sapphire skies motifs, Harvest chorales of harmonies Harbingers in orange transitions.

I have read many poems of the four seasons. But yours is so different from the stereo types or the 'run of the mill' stuff. That novelty of treatment is there not with one season alone, but with all the four. I can hear the white crystal symphonies. I enjoy Spring making her maiden appearance on adagio toes, can listen to the silver sonatas of moonlight and harvest chorales of harmonies. Excellent imagery and beautiful flow. To my FAVE, dear Sam.

I love the wordplay here dear samszy. Your way with weaving a melodious one for the seasons is truly captivating and artistic of you to deliver. I especially loved the lines “ Sunbeams thaw tuneless meadows, Daffodils dream yellow melodies“ deep and so picturesque! “ Heat rises in crescendos, Cool waves soothe sunburns.” Unique!
