Song of Spring

Breath of Spring fill my lungs
Light of Earth fill the sky
Joyous Song fill my tongue
Wondrous Beauty fill my eye

Sound of Spirit fill my ears
Peace of Mind fill the land
Happiness only fill my tears
Nature’s Riches fill every hand

Beautiful Day fill my mind
Nature’s Aroma fill the earth
Beautiful Memories fill my time
Power of Spirit fill our worth

Sweet Renewal fill this season
Unified Harmony fill mankind
Let Wisdom fill our every reason
Until Love fills us all inside

Quite a lovely quatrain. The repeating word binds the piece and helps with the flow.

Good Morning Chris. Poetry to me is all about heart soul and expression not to mention emotion. This entry has it all. This is one of those entries that should be read out loud slowly with emphasis and pauses. Honestly. All is well within your entry in its entirety. Have a wonderful morning and day.

Thanks so much Lisa! :)...I appreciate your time and lovely, warm comments :) I have never really used this rhyme pattern, but that is just how this one came to me. I must be getting inspiration from all the great writers here! :) Happy spring :)

Yes, you ARE a nature boy!! I bet you would love Utah where I reside. I have lots of beauty all around me. MOuntains to my east and lake to the west and trees everywhere! Good poem.

I'm sure I would love Utah, it sounds lovely. Thanks for checking this one out Andrea, sorry I don't get that much time here on soup, but it is really nice to share this art with others who appreciate it:)

Hey Chris, I am a bit worldy and don't get out much, so I'd pick door one. Exotic ! I also long for more time with family, my sisters I never see, so door 2 is my second. I already get lots of solitude and I love it, so I already have my door three! thanks for asking. right now I am in a rush but will see this one poem of yours.
