Sometimes
sometimes i just miss you
sometimes when i'm alone
sometimes where time
meets with memory
and feeling regret that your gone
sometimes i just recall you
to your empty space
and i almost perfectly
remember your loved face
sometimes it's joyful
when you sneak in
those little reminders
that suddenly sink in
and whisper your name
as if out of respect
though there is no reason
that i'd ever forget
sometimes i live
a few moments with you
though you can't be with me
but i still cant live without you
it's a funny thing
sometimes i feel your alive
alive inside my memory
somewhere outside
of our very short time
