Something's missing

there's something missing
i don't know what
but that gaping hole
leaves me feeling blue

there's an emptiness within
whose silence is louder than its scream
~ a heart in constant search with
hunger pangs that have no remedy

so night and day i seek for that
special something that feels like peace

Witnessing flow of thought that ebb and flow like tides, in vibrant nonchalance, we say, ‘these thought are noticed, which come to body-mind, which I am not’ and reflecting thus, peace is restored.
