Something Wonderful This Way Comes
Something wonderful this way comes
The other guys stare at him
What is he seeing?
He must have eagle eyes
As she gets closer they understand
She is glorious, not a local girl
Dressed fancy; who is she?
Old Man Hickson’s granddaughter maybe?
Edna Forrester’s niece?
They cannot take their eyes off her.
She is a marvel.
She walks past, and they are too stunned to whistle.
She has an air about her
That has rendered them speechless.
